About
Dr. Erica Jewel Littleton is an accomplished educator holding dual degrees from Samford University—a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education, a master's degree in Educational Leadership. She became a National Board Certified Teacher and culminated her academic journey by earning a Ph.D. at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
With nearly two decades in education, Dr. Littleton has served in various teaching positions as well as served as a school administrator. In addition to her work in public and private schools, Dr. Littleton has served as a Turnaround Specialist overseeing the spending of a middle school’s $1.5 million school improvement grant. She has also served as the Director of Educational Advancement for the City of Birmingham in Mayor Randall Woodfin’s office.
Dr. Littleton founded her first company, Learning Little People, in 2013 and later established Dr. Erica Jewel, LLC and The Edupreneurship Academy. These ventures reflect her commitment to empowering students, parents, educators, and school administrators.
